Abstract

"politics and other mistakes" piece on James Case, an attorney with the Topsham law firm of McTeague, Higbee, Case, Cohen, Whitney & Toker. Most of Case's practice is devoted to handling legal matters for labor unions. And while Case lobbies for labor interests, he's not bound by the rules that apply to professional lobbyists, because his job as general counsel to the Maine AFL-CIO is an unpaid position, and he is not paid for lobbying.
