Abstract

"this just in" piece on Dan Pallotta, founder of the Pallotta TeamWorks, which organizes Vaccine Rides to benefits AIDS service organizations. One such bicycle ride, from Canada to the United States, saw its finale in Portland. Last week, amidst a dismal Vaccine Ride in Europe where less than 10 percent of the money raised will ever make it to AIDS service organizations, all subsequent rides were halted. High-profile sponsors of Pallotta's events, including Tanqueray, have withdrawn their support.
