Abstract

"house of the month" piece on a yellow and green Victorian on the corner of Emery and Pine on Portland's West End. The two-apartment building at 137 Emery Street has a private garden and a "coffin corner" cut into the landing curve to make it easier to remove a casket from a bedroom.
