Abstract

Nos. 157 and 159 Pine St., two condos in a restored carriage house on Portland's West End, are of contrasting design. Though both units are modern, No. 157 is more traditional. The building was designed in 1882 by John Calvin Stevens as an outbuilding for the adjacent Elizabeth McDonald estate and was sold in 2003 by Lisa Foley for $387,500. The asking price for each condominium unit is $950,000.
