Abstract

"Chowder" piece on the Liberty ship "S.S. John W. Brown," which sails into Portland from Baltimore Aug. 16-22. It is visiting every East Coast port that built the ships during World War II. The "Brown" and the Portland-built "Jeremiah O'Brien" are the only two Liberty ships still afloat.
