Abstract

"Chowder" piece reporting that Peter Homer, 45, earned a $200,000 prize from NASA for designing a pressurized glove for use in space. Homer has degrees in mechanical and aerospace engineering, and sewed for Acadia Sails in Southwest Harbor in the late 1980s.
