Included are visiting Sand Beach in Acadia National Park, or attending the Acadia Night Sky Festival September 10-14; watching a sunrise on Cadillac Mountain at the Park; white water rafting on the Kennebec River; seeing the White Bridge over Perkins Cove in Ogunquit; eating at Warren's Lobster House in Kittery; taking in the clubs and pubs on the Old Orchard Beach Pier in Old Orchard Beach; eating at one of the two remaining Howard Johnson Restaurants in the country (Bangor); visiting Fort Williams in Cape Elizabeth to see the Portland Head Light; and watching the giant taffy-pulling machine at The Goldenrod in York Beach.
