Description of six historical homes in Maine with unique, authentic stories about them. Included are the Hamilton House (1785) and the Sarah Orne Jewett House (1774) in South Berwick, the Sayward Wheeler House (1719) in York Harbor, the Nickels-Sortwell House (1807) and Castle Tucker (1807) in Wiscasset, and the Marrett House (1789) in Standish.
