Abstract

Sound of Color- Tim Bavington's Rock & Roll Absraction is on display at MECA . On October 18 the Las Vegas artist will take audiences through a visual experience of his favorite songs of the 60s and 70s. Still Thirsty- Acadia Oktoberfest in Southwest Harbor features a wine tasting, brewfest, and live music from Banned from Eden and Jones'n the Eclectic Dance Band. 12 Kitchens, One Tour- The Cape Elizabeth Kitchen Tours is expanding to include kitchens in South Portland. Harbor Stage- Fort Gorges on Hog Island in Casco Bay will serve as an artistic backdrop for Double Vision, an interactive, multimedia experience at Fort Gorges that invites collective reflection on the history of the United State’s nuclear missile defense system and current nuclear threats and fears. It draws on the Cold War history of the Nike Missile Program and its counterparts in the USSR. Queen of the Hill- Comedian Judy Gold will take the stage at Vinegar Hill Music Theater.
