Abstract

Profile of Persis Strong, 49, owner-director of Casco Bay Wool Works in Portland. Since buying the company in 2003, Strong has increased sales, introduced men's capes, and expanded the women's line of capes by including exclusive cashmere and alpaca designs. Strong will soon be opening a second store in Freeport called Casco Bay Wear.
