Abstract

"House of the Month" piece on 22 Hartford Lane in Standish, a Southern-style cottage on Watchic Lake occupied by the Countess da Gama during World War II. The countess' son was rumored to be a citizen spy for the Germans while he lived there. Built in 1908, the home is being offered for $710,000.
