Abstract

Officials with the Maine Lobstermen's Association are looking for lobstermen from Kittery to Eastport to serve as members of three management teams. A major part of a New England Fisheries Management Council plan to prevent or stop the overfishing of lobsters is the division of the eastern lobster grounds into four management zones, each of which will be subdivided and assigned a management team.
