Abstract

Austin Weschkolofsky, 80, a poet who also goes by the name of Adam West, has taken out nomination papers to run for an at-large seat on the Portland City Council -- Weschkolfsky, who said he wants to be an advocate for the homeless, listed his address as that of a homeless shelter, but the director of the shelter said he does not live or spend much time there -- Since he is a resident of Portland, the question of his actual address does not affect his right to run
