The Maine Supreme Judicial Court yesterday ruled that workers who were disabled on the job before the state restricted benefits in 1993 are eligible for benefits under the old law -- The ruling states that workers are governed by the law in effect on the day of the injury, and can collect under the old law even if they failed to file their claims while that law was in effect Details
