Abstract

Alan Charbono, 31, of Portland, hand-painted all of the 64 billboards covering the 16-foot-high outfield wall at Hadlock Field in Portland. Although most of the billboards are just letters and company logos, six or seven of them are ambitious pieces, such as the seal that is part of an ad for Olympia Sports. Charbono did the sign work as an independent contractor for The Sign Shoppe at Print Mail of Maine. Details.
