Abstract

The Scotia Prince ferry, which carries up to 170,000 passengers each year from Portland to Nova Scotia, recently underwent a $400,000 renovation that has increased the size of the casino to 3,600 square feet, four times the space of the old gaming room. In 1986, the ferry was lengthened to 475 feet by inserting a 60-foot section, part of an $8 million renovation of the ship. Details.
