Abstract

Two topless dancers at Mark's Showplace on Riverton Street in Portland yesterday pleaded innoncent in Portland District Court on charges of having broken the city's obscenity ordinance. The pair are charged with having simulated sex acts on stage. Club manager Robert Penny, 44, also received two citations. William Knowles, the club's attorney, said the charges are outrageous and that he will take the case to a jury.
