Abstract

Profile of two-year-old T. J. Ellis, who died on June 8 in a Jacksonville, Florida, hospital after his father knocked him down and slammed his head into a cement floor because the boy refused to eat. T. J., the son of Catherine Coffill Ellis of Bath and Timothy J. Ellis Sr. of Jacksonville, was killed less than three months after a Maine judge, at the urging of the Maine Department of Human Services, awarded custody of the boy to his father. Details.
