Abstract

Ted Musgrave, special activities coordinator for Portland's recreation department, has assumed control of the Whale Wall Market on the Maine State Pier, which will now be operated under the name the Waterfront Market. Russell Turner and Joe DeGeorge ran the Whale Wall Market every Friday through Sunday last summer, but barely broke even on the endeavor. The city will operate the market on Fridays only, and plans to refurbish the pier to make the event more attractive to visitors. Details.
