Abstract

U.S. Senate Majority Leader George J. Mitchell yesterday said he will use $1 million from his campaign fund to finance educational scholarships for Maine students. The Senator George J. Mitchell Scholarship Fund will be administered by the Maine Community Foundation of Ellsworth, and students will be judged according to academic performance, financial need and public service.
