Abstract

Mark Hoglund, 3, of Saco, who was pulled from the Saco River more than two months ago after the van he was in jumped an embankment, appears to be emerging from the coma he has been in since the accident. The boy on Monday was moved out of the intensive care unit at Maine Medical Center in Portland, and doctors appear encouraged that he has responded to family voices.
