Abstract

The parents of 2 1/2-year old Patrick McDonough of Wells, a victim of a rare form of cancer, said yesterday that they will take no extraordinary measures to keep the boy alive. Patrick remains at Boston Children's Hospital, where he received a marrow transplant four months ago in an unsuccessful attempt to help him fight the disease. Patrick's parents hope to make the remainder of his life as normal as circumstances allow.
