Abstract

The Portland band Twisted Roots has been together for five years, and consists of drummer Sonny Robinson; bassist Neil Collins, 27; guitarist Adam Powers, 27; and guitarist Pete Giordano, 24. The group is one of the more popular bands in the city, and is about to record its second compact disc. Despite being able to sell out the State Theater and pack T-Birds with fans, the members still find it necessary to hold down day jobs, from Robinson waiting tables at Bintliff's Cafe to Collins' work booking bands at Zootz nightclub.
