Abstract

Wright Express Corp. of South Portland yesterday announced that it plans to add 50 new jobs, 44 of them in Maine. The company joins MBNA Corp., Key Bank of Maine and SeaFax Inc. in adding new telecommunications jobs in the state, leading some observers to say that Maine is in a good position to attract more businesses that manage and process data via telephone lines. Wright Express expects its work force to expand from the current 135 positions to around 210 next year. Details.
