Abstract

A Superior Court jury has decided against Pamela Redman of Topsham, who sought to sue Bic Corporation for the manufacture of a lighter that one of her children used to set a fire that killed three of her children in November 1984. Redman contended that Bic was negligent for failing to produce a child-resistent lighter.
