Abstract

Treasure hunters are continuing an annual tradition this weekend, crowding into the basement room of the Portland Public Library for its annual used book sale. Suzanne Thompson, the librarian in charge of the sale for over two decades, says this year's sale will combine children's and adult books due to the pending library renovation. Typically those sales would be held separately. She said a library support group will likely take over the sale in coming years.
