Details on Gov. King's ideas for education reform, which include school consolidation and holding students and teachers more accountable for learning outcomes. King feels that the state must do a better job of coordinating administrative functions, and cites Maine's ratio of 643 students per administrator, as compared to a nationwide average of 2,500 students per administrator.
