Abstract
More than 50 Maine publishers recently attended a gathering at the State House in Augusta. The event was organized by the Maine Writers and Publishers Alliance, with the assistance of the Maine Arts Commission, Gov. King and Mary Herman. A roundtable discussion featured six Maine publishers, and one question raised was what number of books published in Maine are printed in the state.
