Abstract
The Federal Highway Administration has cited Aarow Moving & Storage of Augusta for multiple violations of highway safety rules over the past three years, and fined the company $24,440. Aarow negotiated a settlement under which it will pay $21,966, the second largest among 14 settlements paid this year by trucking companies in the northeast corridor.Aarow was charged with 36 violations for accepting falsified log books from drivers, and had its safety rating dropped from satisfactory to conditional.
