Abstract

Profile of David Westphal, a filmmaker, producer and partner of Acadia Film Video. Westphal works out of a modest studio garage in Somesville, and his clients and sponsors include the National Science Foundation, the Japan Society, UNICEF and the National Endowment for the Humanities. Westphal's recent effort was "Penobscot: The People and Their River," a project of the Penobscot Indian Nation that was made with a grant from the National Park Service.
