Abstract

The National Park Service has had to cut 16 positions from its staff at Acadia National Park, down to a total of 134, due to a minimal funding increase. The park is experiencing an increase in visitors, with a 15 percent increase recorded so far this year. Almost 2.4 million visited last year.
