Details on last Wednesday's public meeting before the Baxter State Park Authority. George Smith of the Sportsman's Alliance of Maine told the authority that if it didn't allow vehicle access, hunting and trapping on a recent 2,669-acre addition to Baxter State Park that SAM would oppose the purchase of any more public land for conservation.
