Creative Apparel, of Belmont, and Tex-Shield, a Germany-based firm, are taking over the former Guilford Mill and making chemical warfare suits, under a contract with the U. S. Department of Defense. Residents of economically depressed Eastport are hoping that the jobs created will offset last year's mill closing and aid the revival of the town. Details.
