Abstract

Kennebec Valley Co-Housing received a $144,000 grant from the Federal Home Loan Bank of Boston and the Federal Housing Finance Board to develop Maine's first co-housing community in Readfield. Plans call for a 24-unit cooperative housing community on 10 acres, with another 190 adjacent acres left undeveloped.
