Abstract

The Natural Resources Council of Maine is contesting the naming of the Maine Conservation Rights Institute as the guardian of a 2,000-acre conservation easement in Upper Enchanted Township. The Land Use Regulation Commission voted to allow the Lubec-based institute to act as guardian, but the action lacked the requisite number of votes for a permit. Details.
