Abstract

Maine's Land Use Regulation Commission issued a water quality license for Bowater Inc.'s Ripogenus Dam on the West Branch of the Penobscot River, which generates power for the Great Northern Paper mills in Millinocket and East Millinocket. The relicensing now rests with the Federal Energy Regulation Commission.
