Abstract
"News & Issues" piece on the campaign to combat lead poisoning in Maine. The Healthy Maine 2000 report, which was recently released by the state's Bureau of Health, indicates that exposure to environmental lead ranks high among the preventable risk factors affecting a large number of children in all areas of the state and from every socio-economic background.
