Abstract
"News" piece on the chaplain staff at state correctional facilities. The only full-time chaplain is currently at the Maine State Prison in Thomaston, but the 120th Legislature found $43,000 to reinstate a chaplain at the Maine Correctional Center in Windham, which had two chaplains a decade ago. A few of Maine's 10 state correctional facilities have people who minister to prisoners on a part-time or volunteer basis.
