Abstract
"Pass Shooting" piece on Gov. Angus King and the Atlantic salmon. Before becoming governor, King and his associates in an energy consortium fought and lost a battle for the rights to rebuild a dam on the Penobscot River. Oppnents of the plan were convinced it would harm the Atlantic salmon, and King commented about not understanding how salmon people can get so worked up about a fish.
