Abstract
"Continuum" piece on Paul Hawken, author of "The Ecology of Commerce," who spoke last week to the Maine Community Foundation. Hawken, the former entrepreneur who now preaches economic sustainability, preaches a basic premise that says we must switch from an economic system that sets as its goal the lowest price to one that seeks the lowest cost to society.
