Hawking, a form of birding, has long been popular elsewhere, but afficianados are realizing that it is possible to see hundreds and even thousands of hawks a day in Maine. Agamenticus in Berwick is a good spot, as are Mount Battie in Camden and the mountaintops of Mount Desert Island. Details.
