Abstract

Arthur Harvey, a blueberry grower who in January resigned from the board of directors of the Maine Organic Farmers & Growers Association, spent his time at last month's Common Ground Country Fair lobbying for reform of MOFGA. Harvey distributed a three-page leaflet criticizing the organization for adopting a deficit budget, allowing staff too much power and being too heavily influenced by large commercial growers.
