Abstract

Restore: The North Woods, an environmental organization, has come out in opposition to a proposed $10 million bond issue to rebuild state hatcheries. The group says the bond issue provides no money for operations, and that increased stocking will harm wild fish populations. The Sportsman's Alliance of Maine and the Maine Audubon Society are both campaigning for the issue. Details.
