Description

Full exterior view of Walker Manual Training School building, 45 Casco Street, from west. Cumberland Avenue in foreground. Casco Street at right. Ambassador building, 37 Casco Street, in right background.
Designed by Portland architect Frederick Augustus Tompson, the school building was built in 1901. Tompson's many designs include the Hotel Everett (1902), and the Portland Exposition Building (1914).
