Description

Exterior view of Y.W.C.A. building, 87 Spring Street, from south.
The building was built in 1961, replacing the previous Y.W.C.A., which had been located at 120 Free Street (and built in 1908).
The 87 Spring Street building was closed in late 2006, and demolished after the property was purchased by the Portland Museum of Art in 2007.
