    Description

Exterior view of Ingrid's, 64 Pine Street, from north.
From the Portland Press Herald (12 September 1996):
"An eclectic market that sells everything from organic vegetables, breads and wines to assorted health-related items such as vitamins and homeopathic medicines, it's the West End's answer to Munjoy Hill's Whole Grocer, but with an additional attraction: In the back, a great lunch awaits."

The grocery store at 64 Pine Street had been home to several food markets, including Dinsmore's Market (ca.1960) and a Li'l Peach Convenience Store (ca.1980). In 1997, the space became home to Aurora Provisions (photos at this link).
