Description

Exterior view of Chapman Building, 477 Congress Street, from south. The building, photographed during its renovation in October 1958, was Casco Bank headquarters until 1969. Two floors were added to the building in June 1964. The building was later nicknamed the "Time and Temperature Building," long after the digital scoreboard-style lit display was installed in 1970.
