Description
Full exterior view of the Art Gallery Restaurant and Lounge, 121 Center Street, from south. Rear of 474 Congress Street (Loring, Short, and Harmon building) at left. The restaurant was previously known as John Martin's Art Gallery Restaurant, opening for business in 1974, and expanding to the northwest corner of Free Street and Center Street in 1978. The Art Gallery Restaurant closed in 1991, and was replaced by music venues Morganfield's (1994-1996), and later by The Asylum.
