Description

Views of Sam's Harbor Lunch, 210 Commercial Street. The popular breakfast and lunch eatery at Central Wharf relocated from 109 Commercial Street in 1984 (where the restaurant had been since 1968- succeeding tenants such as Celia's Lunch, Sid's Lunch, and Ted's Lunch).
Sam's was forced to close in February 1988, due to the sale and redevelopment of Central Wharf (the project named Fisherman's Wharf), following a controversial waterfront referendum.
