Views of State Drug Store, 603 Congress Street (Congress Square), from east.
State Drug began business as the Congress Building (comprising the State Theatre) opened in 1929. Click this link to see a full exterior view of the Congress Building, taken in 1962.

State Drug closed in early July 1984, after 55 years in business.
